Incredibly
rare ticket booklet from the very last pleasure cruise
of the Wilhelm Gustloff.
The
50th cruise of the Gustloff was cut short
slightly when an urgent message was received during the
last night of the cruise. Order
"QWA 7" demanded that the KdF flagship
return to Hamburg at once from its Norwegian
excursion. Without alarming crew or passengers,
Captain Bertram headed for home port. Less than
one week later, WWII began.

point included tickets and/or vouchers as evidenced by
the remains of a perforated edge.

bound toward Hamburg. It relates to strict
currency and exchange issues that each passenger must
follow on the 27th or 28th of March 1939 before
disembarking.

(and a photo inside) includes the Wilhelm Gustloff
